I just seen an ebay ad for a MS 65 1967 Rabbit nickel and it was priced at $120! This doesn't seem like an accurate price to me. I pulled a self declared MS-63 out of a roll the other day, and am just curious as to how rare these are in very good condition.

Don't know why it's $120 this link says $15 http://coinsandcanada.com/coins-pri...s-1953-2011. Just FYI, very good condition in numismatic lingo means VG-8 which is on the low end of the scale.

Yeah I thought it was priced just a little bit high. Here's the link to the one I seen.

And I must apologize for saying "very good", I'm new to this world of coins and am still learning the finer details. My coin looks like it was made yesterday, no immediately noticeable blemishes. I did discover a very tiny scratch, but it takes a couple mins of playing with the coin in the light to see it.
At any rate, thanks John for your input!

The latest edition of Canadian Coin News trends page lists it at $150 at MS-65. Maybe that or a similar publication helped the seller to set that price. It all on what someone is willing to pay I guess. I don't know if describing it as rare is accurate though, I have several (not at MS-65 though). I don't think I would dish out that kind of cash for it.

Big jump in price and non-availability from MS63 to MS 64 to MS65 in most 1960's 5 cents, and price also jumps if the coin is certified.

On a no-reserve auction on ebay, a 1967 ICCS certified MS65 tends to go for somewhere between $90 and $110.
