So I am very unfamiliar with how precious metals work. on friday the prices of silver stopped and I assume it will resume on monday. what times of the day do prices close, and which days of the week?
so that new york market is for the precious metal prices for all of the u.s.? and the only time that metal prices will fluctuate up or down is between 8:20 AM and 1:30 PM weekdays?
I'm not 100% sure on how it completely works but yes. I'm still learning. There are regular trading hours, after hours trading, then you have the different world markets, etc.
As you can see, it shows when our market will open and where the bid/ask prices ended on the last trading day. Below you can see that the Asia/Europe market is open and we "should" see a nice bump up to 49 when ours opens.
very nice link, I shall bookmark it. and thanks for the information. I really wasn't looking for long detailed answers. your responses answered all my questions. thanks!
