Now that you have all gotten over the terrible pun, I saw two interesting items for sale in the Budk Catalog. One is a pound of wheat pennies (apprx. 120 coins) in good condition for $29.99 (Guaranteed at least one 1909) and the other is a grab bag of 23 random-date Buffalo nickles in good condition for $59.99.

Do these seem like ripoffs to you or would you bite?

yeah, that is a ripoff.
wheats: maybe $6
buffs: $20, tops

Ripoffs no, way overpriced yes. (Just being overpriced does not make something a "ripoff". Now on the other hand if they call it a pound of wheat cents and only send 120 coins THAT is a ripoff because a pound of copper cents is close to 154 coins.)
