SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 04/26/2011 12:17 pm Well, if ebay is somehow getting a "discount" from USPS for mailing, in eleven years of selling I haven't heard of it. I print all of my mailing labels from Paypal, and the choice is mine whether to display the price of mailing. I always choose not to, because the cost of mailing would hint at the amount of insurance on the package, and therefore the value of the item shipped. But the price I pay is the same as if I'd just gone to the Post Office. Report this Post to the Staff

Being charged $10 to ship 2 coins at 1 oz in a 5x8 envelope seems excessive. With the price hidden via the pay pal method its hard to tell what the shipper actually paid. They claim "paper, ink, and postage" justify the charge. Within US for several coins of very low value and weight. (less than $8) even with tracking postage should not be that high.
