When someone sends a bubble envelope 5x8 1oz. Via ebay mailing within US. What does ebay charge/discount. Just curious since price is concealed. Thanks

Well, if ebay is somehow getting a "discount" from USPS for mailing, in eleven years of selling I haven't heard of it. I print all of my mailing labels from Paypal, and the choice is mine whether to display the price of mailing. I always choose not to, because the cost of mailing would hint at the amount of insurance on the package, and therefore the value of the item shipped.

But the price I pay is the same as if I'd just gone to the Post Office.

Thanks that's what I suspected. I just didn't word the question very well. Being charged $10 to ship 2 coins at 1 oz in a 5x8 envelope seems excessive. With the price hidden via the pay pal method its hard to tell what the shipper actually paid. They claim "paper, ink, and postage" justify the charge.

Within US for several coins of very low value and weight. (less than $8) even with tracking postage should not be that high.
