Hello,

Looking for some help cataloguing a Constans Securitas AE3/AE4. I'm not familiar with the mint mark. Looks like are or P, Branch Dot Wreath.

Rome Mint?

I believe that the letter should be an are for Rome mint, however I wasn't able to find any info on the branch and wreath.

Neat item.

I recently picked up a collection of 100 Roman Imperial coins. This is the only one I am having a problem finding a RIC or Sear number.

I do see references to branch mint marks attributed to Rome. So, if anyone can get me a catalogue number that would be great.

Thanks!

OK, I found it listed in ERIC II as an AE4 in RIC VIII #46, the last part is a Q and not a wreath.

Sorry I can't comment if it's rare or not, ERIC doesn't state and their isn't one on Wildwinds.

I found a couple of examples on VCoins though the mint marks are not clear. Again, thanks for your help.
