Yeah, I think they don't know how else to make money and everyone needs to ship stuff so they just raise the price on the flat rates.

Yes, I noticed all USPS postage recently went up.

Just so happens I have to use the USPS Flat Rate Small Box today. I am correct there is no weight limit if shipped inside the USA?

I just sold this item last Wednesday night on ebay, and it is going to someone in the unfortunate tornado ravaged city of Tuscaloosa, Alabama - and you'll never guess who bought it.

Even if you guess correctly, I won't be able to confirm it due to privacy. All I can say is "Roll Tide Roll". Because it was sold on the day of the deadly tornadoes I am sure it will have special meaning to the winning bidder.

I'm not sure but think there is (or was) a 70 pound limit.

Don't know by you but by me I see advertisements all the time for the USPS and they do say "If it fits, it ships" and yes 70 pounds is the limit. And they do weigh those things when you go to ship anything.
Now here is a real horror story. I just found a folder in my desk with the a sheet of the latest US Postage stamps. Not sure why I saved them but they were all for $0.03 each. Has gone up a lot since those good old days.

I always send my auctions flat rate priority with signature confirmation so the postal worker doesn't leave the coins at the mailbox and it used to cost $6.90 and now its $7.05. The reason I always send the coins this way is they are usually higher grade coins and usually a couple hundred dollars a piece and it would be hard for me to take a hit on one of these getting missing, at least this way I know the buyer is honest where they can't say they never got it when it arrived. This way I can see if they signed for it or not. I have never had any problems like I have read others have had (knock on wood) and have had one person fuss about the price of shipping, everyone else understands why and that I do not make a penny on the shipping, I charge exactly what they charge me, actually since it went up I am paying 5ยข out of pocket each shipment
