I don't know. Maybe I have never received one or just don't remember but I have spent the last 30 minutes searching for an area to get my PM's but I cant find it. I looked under profile, My CCF. I don't know. I even did a search for email pm to see if anyone else is asked but I guess I'm the only moron. Can someone direct me on how to retrieve my PM's? Thank you.

PMs should go to the e-mail address you have established with CCF. PMs are not retrieved on the CCF website.

This forum dosn't have a "PM" function. The forum's founders had a bad experience with an old coin forum's PM system - it turns out they're not as "private" as the name implies.
We use an e-mail based system; some of the members here keep calling it a "PM" out of habits picked up on other forums. If you've received one, it would come into your normal e-mail inbox much the same way that the automated e-mail that told you where this thread was moved to was just sent to you. If the e-mail address you gave to CCF when you joined is no longer valid, you might want to click on your profile and change it - click on "My CCF" and edit the profile. While you're there, make sure the "Allow Forum Members to Send you E-Mail?" box is set to "yes".
To send an e-mail, click on the little envelope-and-head icon in the subject line that's labelled "Email Poster" when you roll over it. Answer the anti-spambot math question and click on send. PLEASE NOTE that the recipient will see your actual e-mail address when they receive it; you won't see their e-mail address until and unless they reply.

Thanks for the responses. Not sure what is happening. I do have an email address in my profile and the option to receive emails from forum members has, "yes" selected. I also checked my spam folder. Can someone else try sending an email through the site. Maybe it was a fluke. If I have 5 people send and I don't get any of them, then there is probably something else going on. If you are willing to take a moment to email me, please respond here in the forum that you have done so. Thank you.

I tried sending myself an email through the site and did not get it either. At the same time, I am getting regular mail from friends and business okay. I asked a couple of people to test email out side of CC and I got them in seconds. I wonder if the email takes awhile through the site maybe.. Not sure

Did you get the e-mail telling you this thread was moved?

look in your spam folder, there are allot of email addresses that see it coming from a website and it goes straight to spam. There have been quite a few people say their emails were in their spam folder, so you may have to add coincommunity.com to the acceptable email list. I see you have a gmail email address listed and I know it will go to spam unless you mark them not as spam one time

Yes, I did get the email indicating that the thread was moved but I have not received any emails from posters. Very very strange. And yes, the first thing I did was check my spam folder. I may have to look at my server and see if I have some kind of spam control that is catching it but my spam filters on the server are for words like pharmacy, grow bigger now, and other such junk....lol. Oh well, thanks for trying guys.
