Opinions on this one? Don't know a thing about them. Picked it up at a flea market along with a Confederate $20 bill.

It is a reproduction- the crinkly artificially aged parchment and lack of inked signatures are dead giveaways. Colonial notes were all hand signed, the signatures were not printed. Of course, the serial number is also listed as a known fake on the Crutch Williams site.

Absolutely fake. The paper is the dead giveaway. It should have light lines pressed into it, or a very faint woven pattern from the drying process. Bio's other observations are also absolutely spot on.

Thanks for that info Biokemist6. And he seemed like such a nice little old man. Was also able to check that Confederate bill on web site you provided. Yep fake as well!
