So I'm basically a Lincoln and Canada small cent collector.
But today I found a small antique shop that had about 30 Civil War Tokens. And I think I fell in love.
What is the best resource for info on these tokens? RedBook is very limited on the subject.
Help! I want to feed a ne addiction....

Start your investigation at https://www.cwtsociety.com
You will find basic history, definitions, texts for sale, etc.

I fail to see how this is "Erratic" -
it's just the progress of a healthy interest.

There's a new book on CW storecards that's in the works. The CWTS website is a great starting place. The annual dues are modest and you'll receive four jounals; one for each of the four seasons. This'll be your best resource for keeping current. Enjoy!

Best way to start is by sending me your Lincolns and someone else your Canadians. But really, when you find something that really does it for you, nothing wrong with heading in a new direction...that's how I keep myself interested.

Maineman-all I need are the SVDB and 14D (like a million other people) and I will be happy with my LWC s. So I think you are right a different (more affordable) direction is good right now. A few of the tokens are from Albany NY which is close to me so maybe a NY storecard collection would be cool.
