I don't know, Fredd. I used to be a very strong conservative, which meant that I had to hold my nose when voting for Repubs most of the time. Lately, however, I have become more of a scorched earth political guy. By that, I mean that I vote against ALL incumbents at EVERY opportunity. IMHO, there is no politician so good and so worthy that they simply cannot be replaced by some new blood. That is the height of hubris, IMHO, and is what the politicians believe, not the electorate.
This may or may not have any effect on the current US political situation but it at least allows me to be true to my own convictions... and who knows? It just might get others to join me in a true ground-swell of political dissent with the entrenched DC "business as usual" crap.
