Just saw this on Kitco, and I think everyone following Silver should read it. Here are some real numbers on Silver by the CPM Group:

http://www.kitco.com/reports/KitcoN..._supply.html

Supply and Demand are both rising. What does your math say about the price of silver going forward? At the end of 2011? End of 2012?

Don't really care about 2013 and beyond, cause we all know it's just not gonna happen

Couple of more links actually, looks like they spread the report over several articles:

SILVER IS KING!

It is going to the moon, thats where its goin'. The Obama team is too busy destroying the dollar to notice what is goin on right now...thats ok though because I'm buying silver with any disposable income I have.

These articles make me feel good. With many uses of silver, and the production going up, I would like to believe the price per oz would also follow. There are many many uses of this metal. I can talk about 10 other variables that can affect the price of silver, but this is good to read. Good post.

Well it may be headed to the moon, but it dropped 3 and a half bucks today, something going on that I missed?

We all know in the long run it is headed back up, and probably sooner than later, so as usual, me calls this a.....BUYING WINDOW!

Not to be argumentative or anything but... silver is NOT "going to the moon".

Silver fundamentals are, however, VERY strong. It's long term prognosis is very good. I would rather have extra money sitting in silver, both as ETFs and as physical metal, than sitting in a cash account. Both production and demand seem strong with good prospects for continuation in this vein (as it were).

That said, silver will continue to be quite volatile with 3-5% moves to both the up and down sides. The trend bias is upwards, so silver owned today is likely to be more valuable a year from now, particularly when compared to cash.

I am bullish on silver... but not hysterical about it.
