When you browse your collection and you are holding a coin that's 50+, 70+, 100+ years old, ever wonder what that coin would tell you it could talk? You see a rim nick, an old scratch or wear that's excessive on the high points of the Obverse but little wear on the Reverse, perhaps an old hole drilled in the coin, or someone's initial's engraved in it. You wonder how many item's this coin has purchased during it's time in circulation, was it ever owned or possessed by someone famous/rich?
If coins could talk, ever wonder what they would say?

I'd guess it would be: "When was the last time you washed your hands?"

Or: "Please tell me that's not hand lotion oozing all over the place!"

Or: "Ouch, by the edges Quasi Motto, not in the middle!"

If you've ever inherited coins you can even find out more about that person. And every person's collection is different based on their personality and chance. For example, my grandmother had 3 Walking Liberty halves and a Franklin half, which leads me to believe that she had gone to the states at one point in the 1950s. The rest are all "retired" coins in small amounts. It tells me she was a poor person, which she was. Apart from this and her milk ration card she had very little.
