Hello,

I am new to this coin forum! I am from California. I came across a large binder of a variety of different tokens/medals/bank notes/military ribbons etc in my grandparents attic and I am trying to do my best to learn about them.

I was looking over a 1942, what I believe to be brass commemorative. The sleeve it's in says "unused". It's pretty, and heavy. : )

Can someone tell me more about this piece?

Cheers,
OrBe.

Looking forward to seeing some photos .... perhaps one of the Mod Dudes will show up and move this question to the more appropriate "Unidentified" forum where the true experts can weight in.
