Has anyone anywhere come across this coin for sale at anytime, anywhere? I've been looking for one to upgrade my G-4 for the past 40 years to no avail!

I have seen mint state 1882 10c, does it have to be ICCS?

I'd be willing to go with a C.C.C.S. I'm very impressed with Louis's conservative grading!

You have no idea how much this little question of yours cost me! I thought I would have a look on some obscure spots I check from time to time and see if they had one... did not have that but ended up finding 4 or 5 coins that I had to have! Not sure if I should thank you or throw a rock your way :-)

glenzy1:

I see there where 2 in the June 2009 Torex one ICCS MS-64 (3800$ to 4200$) and one PCGS MS-65 (10 000$ to 11 000$).

February 2010 Torex: PCGS MS-65 10 000$ to 11 000$ same one I guess.

I own all the Torex catalogues from 2004 till 2011 I am sure there are many more.

Call C&P they are the ones that have one based on my catalogues.

The Canadiana collection sold by Heritage in 2010 was a PCGS MS-66 example with a estimate of 6000$ to 8000$. Lot # 20118.

http://coins.ha.com/common/view_ite...Lot_No=20118

sold for 4600$ that is including the buyer's commission it had 2 bids.

Marjonbc, you have no idea the great laugh you gave me on a Friday night after my second glass of dry red wine. You made my day, by the way, I have a hard head so go ahead and whack me with that rock!

I would like to have a set of dimes all in VF. That is a lofty goal for me and my budget. I have been collecting for over 30 years and have always found that the 1882H to be very hard to find in that condition. If you look at the price in trends for a VF, it's only $100 which in my mind makes it an inexpensive coin. Yet, it is just as hard to find in a nice looking coin as pretty much every other date.
