Looks interesting; I've used sites like this for bootleg concert recordings. I'll sign up and give it a shot if there is room left.

Platinum will definitely be coming soon as I will be adding Platinum Bullion coins at some point in the nearish future. I assume I'll get around to Palladium as well :)

I'm going to setup a page where you can enter your email to request a invite code soon, but in the meantime if you want to shoot me an email at stephenglauser[--at--]gmail.[--dot--]com (obviously need to change the [--at--] to @ and [--dot--] to . with your username here I can let you know as soon as I am going to open up more spots. Shouldn't be too long. :)

Is there a way to edit or delete purchase place and storage location once it has been entered?

This was implemented today. Just click on the Account tab, then Purchase or Storage location, then choose the one you want to edit. Once you are viewing the desired location, on the right hand side there will be an area to rename that purchase/storage location.

Was browsing through some of my coins I had uploaded and some of my Lincoln Cents that I had with their pictures now have been replaced by pictures of Walking halves. I thought it might be because of similar filenames but thats not it. Any idea whats going on?

This is a really nice idea. So what are the key advantages of this type of inventory vs. an Excel spreadsheet? I would be hesitant to have my inventory online somewhere. Could some unscrupulous hacker to trace an IP back to the location of some big collections?

This idea spawned from the Excel spreadsheet I had been using. I just found once the amount of data the Excel sheet held really started to grow it became a little unwieldy and quite bulky. The current system holds much more data, which is important to data junkies like myself, and is much more powerful.

I understand the hesitation to having your inventory online. For what it's worth I do intend to have an 'Export to Excel' or 'Export to CSV' feature in the future (does not currently exist) and I run automatic backups of all data entered regularly. It is highly unlikely that a hacker could deduce your location from an IP address, should the website be hacked. Being a member of this site (CCF) has the same exposure as being a member of myCoinDB. It is not generally possible to trace an IP address to a physical location without contacting the ISP that provided the IP address (or hacking that ISPs databases).
