My mother would like to buy me a coin for my Birthday (Nov 19th), but she doesn't know anything about coins. She feels a gift certificate is too impersonal. She knows I generally like any old US currency, but I don't want her to go to any old dealer not knowing what she's doing.

If is there any respected members (or admin/moderators) who is also a dealer and willing to sell her a coin, I would really appreciate it. I'm not sure what she's looking to spend, but it probably wouldn't be a huge transaction. Just a favor.

If anyone is willing what I can do is give her your email address and she can take it from there.

Thanks! :)
Thank you :)

Are you wanting her to buy you old currency as you stated as what you like or do you want her to buy you a coin? Bobby and Susan are always selling on ebay. They always have good stuff.

Rest in Peace

Susan and Bobby are great to buy from. In addition, although I don't think he is in "sales," scoutjim99 has a great set of paper currency and might be willing to part with one or two pieces if it was something you wanted.
Rest in Peace
