Got out a bit this afternoon. I went back to my favorite park where I found my gold ring this year. I was trying to grid out little sections here and there looking for anything. I ended up with my 2nd Sac. dollar of the year. But, as I was leaving to hit another spot...I kept swinging all the way to the truck... darn near the exact path I swung when I starting from my truck. I'm digging all nickel signals and this evening, all I'm getting is can slaw...and lots of it. Not a single nickel was found today..........but..........my last nickel signal....one that I would have bet money on was more can slaw turned out to be.....my first class ring....A BIG ONE!

I already have someone getting in contact with this guy with huge fingers at 18! I have some fat fingers and this thing was sliding off of my thumb!

This was NOT a gold class ring...it weighs over 10 grams! And, the best part is that the BIG GUY'S name and not initials are on the inside of the ring. Easy way to return my first found class ring!

Oh...and I ended up with 2 more possible gold pieces and 21 coins for $2.04

That is pretty cool. I'm dissapointed...I just broke my Garrett. I gotta send her in to be fixed.

Keep us posted. I'd like to know if you find the guy.

I think it would be cool to return someones ring like this that they had lost. I am sure they will probably tell you how long it has been lost and they thought it would be gone forever and really appreciate you finding it and giving it back to them. I am sure some people would just either throw it away or keep it for themselves even though it has initials and a name on it just because they wouldn't want to be bothered trying to find the person. You going the extra steps to try and find the original owner speaks volumes to your character and is always a breathe of fresh air to hear these types of stories from our members here on the forum

It's a 1996 ring. Waiting on the BIG guy to call me about it...left a message for him about it.
