A nice clear example with all legends and inscriptions legible.

Licinius II, caesar and son of Licinius I, who ruled as junior emperor under his father from 317 to 324 AD. Obverse: D N VAL LICIN LICINIVS NOB C, helmeted bust with shield and spear. Reverse: IOVI CONSERVATORI (Jupiter the Protector), the god Jupiter standing holding long sceptre topped with an eagle and a globe on which Victory is perched, at his feet to the left is his eagle with a wreath in its beak, to the right is a bound captive. Mintmark looks like SMHB - Heraclea mint, officina beta. This example is slightly nicer.

The lettering to the right of Jupiter, XII and an I that's been broken in half, is the denomination mark - 12 and a half denarii.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
