Don't want to lead the discussion, so we are wondering if the forum has any grades/thoughts on this coin? Looks nice, though has a long slash from the right wing on the reverse almost to the 'E', which is not to visible on the picture, but the best we could get. Thanks for the input. Oneeye New Member United States 22 Posts	Posted 05/26/2011 7:46 pm Certainly looks genuine. The coppery toning and luster wearing in the fields, all seem pretty authentic. I look at the hair and feathers to determine grade on these up to AU. So I will say 35-45. I'm no expert either but I had my hands on about 25 quarter eagles just today. Spend a few bucks on getting it graded, peace of mind is priceless. Report this Post to the Staff
