This one is raw, mostly white with minor rainbow edge toning. Some hairlines are visible but not prominent.

Look. at. the. strike.

It's enough to change your opinion about the Seated design.

I am even scared to give an opinion on grade on this thing. The strike is almost perfect and very strong. I can not see any hits or anything in the pictures provided but I think this is because of the lighting used and angle the picture was taken. I would really like to see a straight on shot with good lighting before I give an opinion on grade but if I were to give one on the pictures provided it would be rather high because the coin looks as close to perfect as one could expect from a coin 142 years old. Either way just going by strike alone I would probably get this one graded to protect the coin no matter what

Even if it only makes PF63 it has substantial value. I still can't get over the strike.

I agree, the strike is just awesome on this coin. Classic Proofs are plagued with hair lines so I don't think that is a problem with this coin. I still see no hits or anything that I can think that would keep it out of the PF-64 grade but am still uncomfortable grading higher from pictures but would not be surprised if it did get a higher grade just on eye appeal and strike alone
