2009 Cent Copper , Satin ? 1975-D Capped Die ? Need Help ..

Odd 2009 cent usually is light in collor and shine but this one is dark as pure copper also found a 1975D that looks a capped die error so any idea whats goin on with those coins ?!

The '09 looks like simple circulation toning.The '75 looks like a Dryer Coin.IMHO.

I agree with John1. Both are PMD. The 2009 is just discolored. The 1975 is damaged on both sides smearing the metal on the high areas.

There are not very many 2009 satin finish and all came from mint sets (like proofs). Unlikely you will find one in circulation.
