What is the run for a #2 star note series 1976, serial number B01068229* / and what is the value for such a note when it has one major fold, but is relativity crisp otherwise?

There is not much premium on those in circulated condition and may be $5 to $6 max. You can still get chcu stars for around $15 to $20 for most common runs.

E, G, I and J have decent premiums with I and J being the most expensive on $2 1976.

New York had the highest run for the series, and therefore the least value.

I used to collect starnotes but end up spending most of it ehen short in cash ! Today I cashed some coins and got a crisp 20$ starnote I-00670098 so is it worth anything over face or the bill must be old to have some value ?

There were uncut sheets issued to collectors which were then cut up. Unless you have the uncut sheet in its entirety from the 1976 series there is not much premium for some of these notes.
