kc_hhsl New Member United States 25 Posts	Posted 05/29/2011 2:12 pm I have a several foreign bills in my possession. I believe many if not all are WWII vintage or older. I have bills from Japan, Malta, Philippines, Egypt, Nippon, Maraco, Denmark, England, Italy, France, Mexico, Ghana, and a couple I cannot determine yet. I also have one that looks to be a Confederate 50 - states The Confederate States of America. I'm trying to determine if any of these have any value. I would say that most are "so so" - would not classify them as mint by any standard. Some are cool to look at. Sap Moderator Australia 16829 Posts	Posted 05/29/2011 7:15 pm The "Ghana" notes cannot date from before 1958 - that country did not start issuing it's own notes until then. "Nippon" is Japan, and did not put that name, in English/western lettering, on their notes until the 1950s. For the Confederate States note, be aware that there are a lot of facsimilie/reproduction notes around. Check the date and serial number on your note and see if it is listed on this website. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff
