Can anyone help me identify this coin? I have been looking for a few months without luck.

I think that the obverse is "Nike holding Victory" & the reverse is "city walls", but I that is just a guess. Thanks in advance

If you use the search feather and type in Philippi it will go to a previous post about this coin. It is a Roman Semis struck in 31 BC to commemorate the battle between Augustus and Mark Anthony at Philippi in 42 BC.

Echizento, thanks a lot! I am happy to learn that I have such a cool coin! Love the history! I think that I have run across the coin in my search but I did not make the connection because of the lack of the VIC and AVG on the obverse and I had the reverse upside down and sideways.
