Thanks.

Actually, most are from change or coins that I found on the street.

I was getting lunch the other day and I found that beautiful 69 just sitting on the sidewalk! There were no banks nearby, just how did that 40 year old coin get there in that condition?

I got the 83 in change, and believe it or not, the first wheatie I ever found, and the only steel penny I have ever seen I found on the floor of the subway platform.

If I didn't find this great site first, I wouldn't have known what I found, and I already would have spent it.
Not to mention, I wouldn't even be looking at my pocket change in the first place before I spent it on the vending machine.

Once I started to read the great posts on this site I started looking at change everywhere. Never would have done that otherwise.

Put this together from rolls. It was fun to do, but now that I filled the book my OCD nature is really kicking in.

My goal: to find every coin with some partial step detail. Otherwise, I am just trying to upgrade the coins as I find them.
This has become a hard (to impossible) task to accomplish. Also, I need better light as I check most of my coins at night. After checking for a while, your mind (and eyes) begin to play tricks. You ponder if coin A looks just a little bit better than coin B, and should it upgrade the coin already in place. Sheesh!
