is there a 1937 S buffalo head nickel where the buffalo has only 3 legs?

To the best of my knowledge it is only the 1937D Buffalo that has a 3 legged variety. Although I wouldn't call it impossible as new varieties pop up every day of coins. That's the great thing about this hobby, always something new to discover.

Anything is possible, for sure, but I would say no. The die that was ground, that created the missing leg, occurred in Denver, I can't see a die being ground in San Francisco or Philadelphia at the same time.
