Hi guys,
I found these 2 dollar bills with errors and have no idea what they are worth or even where to look them up.

This is a 1985 series B with partial offset printing of the rear image on the front of the bill (note the green overprinting near the top of the bill by "The Unitied States of America". The reverse appears normal.

This is a 1988A series G with partial offset printing of the front image on the rear of the bill. The front appears normal, although printed nearer the top edge of the paper.

Let me know if you can point me in the right direction or offer any advice as to the value. I will probably need to take it to someone in-person for an accurate appraisal but would like a ball-park figure in-mind.
Thanks!

Error notes is the area of least experience for me (besides confederate currency).. So, with that being said..

Have you checked ebay? That would bring about the actual market value of notes like these, but I don't think they are available very often..

Hmm..

Actual value in the case of these types of errors is relative to what your prospective buyers are willing to pay. I do not think there is a dedicated price guide such as Red Book for these but if there is I sure hope one will post it. I will dare say however that the bottom one, in my opinion, will carry more of a premium over the the first one.

According to the book that I have on error notes they list these type of notes as partial offset. The prices listed are anywhere from 15.00 in fine condition up to 75.00 in cu condition. They also list it as either a r-1 or r-2 on rarity. Hope this helps
Rest in Peace

The 1988A would get the best price (30 plus).

Spring423, which book / whose book are you using? Thanks

Very fickle market and the ebay suggestions are great.

An error is worth what someone will pay you.

I like your notes (especially the second one) and would offer (NOT an offer here) $10 for the pair. The right buyer would offer a lot more.
