Hey Everyone,

I really appreciate the warm welcome and insightful remarks that everyone has posted in regards to my coins.

The 20 or so silver dollars I have were given to me. I would love to grow my collection of silver dollars..especially morgans. Is there a such thing as getting silver dollars for less than melt value?

There are a lot of morgans on ebay that are extremely cheap. Are they all fakes or are there some legitimate deals in the mix.

Please Advise,

Coin Rookie

I have literally bought 100's of Morgans on ebay over the last four or five years. Not one fake in the lot, just make sure you know what you are buying and you shouldn't have an issue. Most fakes are for the "High" end, hard to find coins. They don't waste the time or energy in conterfeiting common everyday Morgan or Peace dollars.

Trade dollars are the worst when it comes to conterfeiting.

Agree with Freedom, ebay is a good place for deals..IF you know what you are doing.Know your coin and pay attention to seller ratings and return policies.
