First of probably many post as I just jumped the wall from the stamp forum. Sorta had a small collection fall in my lap and know of nowhere better than here for information suggestions and ideas. I'm sure this community is as good as the stamp forum ,and which side is the dark side is yet to be determined.
On to this 25 cent note- From 1923 and I forget what the guy called it forsure but shin plaster sounds about right. This has been well circulated but never knew Canada had low denomination paper notes not all that long ago. Anyone have a bit of history info on this and yes of course I have to ask whats it worth in the real world opposed to the catalog world?
Thanks ahead

First, welcome over the fence.

Yep it's a shin plaster. They were issued with three dates 1923, 1900, 1870. They are also called fractional currency. I'd say yours is in "fine" condition and worth 4-8 bucks realistically.
