Do any of the 1972 DD pennies have a mint mark, or are generally the 1972 DDs without any mint mark? Thank you :)

If you're talking about the 1972 doubled dies from Philly, there is no mintmark. If you're talking about the doubled dies from Denver or San Francisco, there would be mintmarks.

Not really understanding what you're asking.

I think he is just asking if there were doubled dies from Denver and San Francisco as well as the Phillys (no MM). The short answer is yes.

Yup, Maineman answered it. I don't have any good magnification, and don't have the money to buy one now. So currently I am saving any dates that could be worth money. Sad I know, but it's all I got for now.

There is something that can be found on every date, not just the '72's.

Like Maineman mentioned, go to coppercoins.com - they have a die variety search. It's awesome!

You punch in the year and mintmark and it will tell you (almost) everything *known* to exist for that year/mintmark.

Wrestling 135, If you have some 99 cent store in your town, they have magnifiers. I have bought the folding 2 lens magnifier to give away to kids, or loan out at a meeting or show, rather than my expensive one of better quality.

No is is not as good as a Belomo or B&L or any Triplet constructed, but it is well worth 99 cents if you have nothing else.
