I want to warn you this could be in the wrong form it could be nothing related to this web page at all. I found this in an old building that we where cleaning out. I tried to search the internet either I was searching for the wrong thing or I'm an idiot. so if anyone knows what this is I would love to know more about it.

This is a subscription ticket (basically like a lottery ticket) More like a raffle ticket for cash prizes. They were sold for to raise money for charity for The Army and Navy Veterans in Canada, Quebec Unit No. 33, the best that I can tell. Here you can see a similar ticket that was for a $1,000,000 prize. That's about all I could find on this.

I really wish I could write my name like that : )
Is that actually hand written?

It is just an acquired calligraphy skill. I have some of that training.

If I owned that ticket, I would probably have been silly enough to sign it in Old English Text. I do that type of stunt occasionally, when a legal formal signature is not necessarily required.

Yes it is actually hand written (well it think) I will take a closer look when I get home tonight. It has been sitting in a box for probably over 50 years. As you can see its not in the best of condition. I have it in a sleeve now. Even though its not valuable its still something cool to hold on to.

I did notice where mines says ST. LEGER/DONCASTER The one on craigslist says Derby/1,000,000.

Is that just because it was the winning ticket?

Actually, I think it's in great condition!! I'm pretty sure it would grade VF in the currency grading scale! It may not end up being worth much, but it's neat!

And yes, that's just because yours is the winning ticket. ;)

Thanks for all the info. I currently have it in a sleeve with my old dollar bill, but I will pick up a new one for it today or tomorrow.
