I found this $1 bill the other day. Would this be considered a misaligned bill since its wider on the left than the right? I'm new to all this. Thanks

You will see people try to sell things like that as an error on ebay all day long. They word it like it increases the value of the note, but the truth is it lowers the grade and so LOWERS the value instead of raises it. The print really needs to be shifted to the point of being off the edge before it would be an error and actually raise the value.

Thanks everyone for your input. I didn't think it had any value since I've seen a few of them before. Just thought I'd check before spending it. How low a serial number is worth holding onto. I got a $20 as cash back the other day with serial number IL00006441B. I figured I'd hold onto it, maybe something I can trade later towards something better.

You want perfect centering, not thick and thin borders. It is worth morre only when a portion of the design is cut off.
