The top one is graded and in a slab. I won't tell you which type until I post picture. The bottom one is a recent raw acquisition. I'll let this run maybe another 24 hours or so and post the picture of top coin and my opinion on the bottom coin sometime tomorrow, Sunday. Thanks for your help!

Kind of depends who slabbed it. NGC and ANACS would probably go EF on the top one. PCGS probably VF-30, maybe 35.
Bottom piece is solid VG-8.

I purchased the top coin several years back during the Orlando FUN show. I was intrigued to find a better date circ. Morgan correctly graded in this particular Third Party Slab. Like most I was used to seeing their coins vastly overgraded. I thought it was so unusual that I bought the coin even though I didn't even really need it. I've kept it in its current slab since then more as a curiosity than anything else and as an example that even the most challeneged third party graders get it right sometime. I think the coin is O.K in either a VF25 or VF30 slab.

The bottom coin I believe is just a dead solid VG8 and will stay raw in my collection. Just a nice key date circulated coin.

Congratulations to 'whitecollarman' who nailed them both perfectly!
