It's not a circulation coin. It's a privately-cast religious medal, a Southeast Asian "magic coin" given to pilgrims making the journey to Mecca - and probably for other "good luck" purposes as well. The "butterfly" and the "old pigrim" are both common features on these amulets. Yours is quite close in design to this one on zeno.ru.
