I like how they talk about how the coin has probably travelled round the world, whent he silver, being Spanish, is probably from Latin America in the first place. But, just makes me think where the the components of the coin would have been millions of years ago, as I was in Sucre, Bolivia and saw some dinosaur footprints where dinosaurs were close to a lake, yet the dinosaurs had been on flat land yet now it is nearly vertical. Sucre is near the "highest city in the world", Potosi (is that right?) where a lot of Silver came from!

There are seven known holey dollars with 1789 host date; all are Mexico City mintmarked. If it's truly "one of the best preserved", then it's probably the coin listed in the Mira list of holey dollars as number 1789/3.

However, the coins can be said to have "travelled the world" because all the holey dollars were struck using coins shipped from India.
