Starting To Collect Coins And Coin Roll Hunting!

I bought 1200 unsearched wheats and two rolls that are unsearched with indian heads. I also bought 10 rolls of pennies from the bank just to start searching to see if I could find anything. I got about 25% copper, but no wheats. I'm looking to go back 2morrow and get a box to see what I find. I got 2 penny books (1909-2007) and also got one indian head book. I'm still wandering were I should dump my pennies. I dont intend on doing ALOT, probouly just a box every 2-3 weeks. I was thing Coinstar without the fee and get Amazon gift cards, then take those to buy more coin stuff on Amazon ex. (supplies). If anyone has any suggestions please tell, also I haven't received my wheats yet, just waiting. Report this Post to the Staff

If e-Bay chances are they have been searched. Unless they came from an old stash from a non collector they have been searched so don't get discouraged. Don't dump at the same bank you buy from,the coinstar thing sounds good to me. They are bought from penny horders during the depression and some just keep all pennies. People have found 1909 S VDB, 22 Plain, and serveral people have found the 1955 Double Die, and I think I have heard about 5-6 in feedback with 1914-D. Sounds pretty legit. Only thing is I got the 2 rolls with indian heads off ebay, man said they were from estate sell. Report this Post to the Staff
