NGC-Launches-100-Greatest-US-Modern-Coins-Registry-Set
The following is a press release from NGC

The NGC Collectors Society has launched a new registry set based on the recently published 100 Greatest U.S. Modern Coins by Scott Schechter and Jeff Garrett (Whitman, $29.95). The book ranks the top 100 United States coins from 1964 to date. This new competitive registry set, listed under the 100 Greatest category in the NGC US Coin Registry, is a new and exciting way to collect and showcase some of the most popular modern coins.

The launch of this registry set follows the creation of a label exclusively for coins listed in 100 Greatest U.S. Modern Coins. The label prominently displays the coin's rank to the right of its description and grade.

Modern coins are the most popular segment of the NGC Registry. The most active category -- Silver Eagles, 1986-Date, Mint State -- currently has more than 2,400 sets registered.

Many of the coins listed in the 100 Greatest U.S. Modern Coins registry set can be acquired by collectors of modest means, and coins registered in other sets are eligible for inclusion. 100 Greatest U.S. Modern Coins is currently available for purchase on Whitman's website, elsewhere online and at book stores nationwide.

What am I missing here? So when I send my coin in, it ranks #76... then you guys send in your stuff that's better than mine. My coin is now ranked #5,326 but the label still says #76.

So I should send all my stuff in right away while the populations are low so I can get a high ranking printed right on the slab?

Rank as in its ranking in the book. From 1 - 100.
