There are many reasons why we collect coins. One of them is the appreciation of their the artistic beauty. Using my computer's software, I have taken photo's of coins and "dressed them up". It is amazing how you can take a toned coin and really bring out its colors. Here is some of my work. I took some of these full page printouts to my coin dealer and offered it to him. He is moving just down the block and I figured he could use some "color" in the shop. He loved them and wants to blow many of them larger for shows and all. Take a look. This is what I do when I don't have my kids for the weekend. Maybe I need to get out more. Ooh- very pretty! I've always thought that Morgans are especially suited to rainbow toning. Love that 1887! Rachel [:p]

I'm with you on this one, as it reminds me of the collection of Buffalo's that I'm currently working on. I only have three states to go and I'll have found one from each state. They are all matched honey toned beauties. Finding these last ones have been like pulling teeth.

Oregon - Hawaii - Rhode Island Guess I will have to get serious about this project now! That is O.K. as I have several leads and people out looking and making offers. If I ever get it finished, I'll let you know.
