Brass Jeton, Tree of Life, 1790: Holy Roman Emperor Joseph II from 1765 to 1790 and ruler of the Habsburg lands from 1780 to 1790.
Bust of Joseph II, facing left IOSEPH . II . D . G . IMP . Size, 20.5 mm.
Tentatively dated around 1790 this jeton is quite thin and is probably as struck, with little or no wear. It could easily date from as early as 1783 with E. L. S. Lauer as the probable engraver.
This variety is listed as rare... ?

I like them too more and more, I only got like 10 of them from different periods / country's and themes.
Often I just look for the information on the net, but I often do some descent google searches and wind up on several websites...

Also a lot of the jetons are French / German etc, so the information is often in this language... and I don't speak French unfortuanetly, German I do a bit! I found some websites can maybe check out:

hope it helps :)
