Thats what we figured, so my next question is does this coin still have any silver value?

most likely not, its not easy to tell if its silver or not just by looking at it.

Maybe German or nickel silver, the Chinese are great at faking stuff.

I first started researching types of fake silver when I bought what looked like a silver tissue case at a garage sale for one dollar. It looked like silver but didn't polish up like real silver does and looked a little too cheaply made to be the real stuff.
