1942-45 are 35% silver. Some 42's arent, but if it has a big mint mark over Monticello its silver.

so if you there is no mint mark over the monticello its not silver

Some 1942(if there is a large mintmark above Monticello on the reverse of the coin)all 1943-45. And they are 35% silver,not 90% like most other silver coins.

War silver nickels were minted between 1942 and 1945 and are distinguished by the enlarged mintmark on the reverse above the Monticello dome.

There are 11 total date/mm combination of war silver Jefferson.
