DVCollector Bedrock of the Community United States 10045 Posts	Posted 07/19/2011 10:45 pm The small coin with the crown and Sverige is KM#823 10 Ã-re from Sweden. .400 fine silver, mintage 28M, value is basically bullion, ASW: 0.0185oz The others I'd have to dig for ID, but it looks like Turkey, UAE (Egypt?), Korea, Taiwan, Belgium (Belgique/Belgie), Japan, Israel You'll get more IDs. Japan 1 Yen, Sweeden 10 ore, Israel 1 agora. United Arab Emirates 1 Dirham, South Korea 100 Won, Japan 10 Yen. Taiwan or Republic of China 1 ciao or 10 cents, last two are Belgium 1 franc coins. I saw that Israel 1 Agora coin and remembered being given a coin that looked exactly like that in Sunday school when I was a kid - they gave out one to each of us and said that they were copies of a "widow's mite" coin from a New Testament parable. I never thought much about it but kept the thing for years - I always assumed it was just a copy until today. I looked it up on worldcoincommunity.com, and sure enough the mintage years for that coin were just about right. Now I'm wondering if I can dig that coin up somewhere. Report this Post to the Staff

chrisild Pillar of the Community Germany 1238 Posts	Posted 12/18/2011 05:47 am As for the Belgian coins, the 1 frank coin from from 1959 has the country name in Dutch ("BelgiÃ«"); the piece depicts Ceres with the cornucopia (horn of plenty). As you can guess, the hole was "added" later. :) The 1 franc coin from 1994 shows king Albert and has the country name in French (Belgique).
