I also have a $2 dollar bill 1917 series (note Red Seal) this bill also has fold marks but is in excellent condition I would like to know the value of this bill if any one can give me a rough estimate it would be appreciated.

Based on what they sell for on Heritage, I would guess that note is worth about $80.

Can you explain "last good series", I hate to sound crass but would that be something worth mentioning when talking value?I hate having to let these go but I must! I had planned on selling the other day but had a flare up of my RA and just now easing off!

Some posters have opinions. Many of us think the $20 saints, buffalos, mercuries, SL and WL coins are the nicest ever made.

I was talking about design not value, as in the U.S paper money from the 20's onwards lack finess. I call them photo copy money, but now they are priner money.
