I am trying to list an item for sale but every time I try posting it I get this notification:

"Coin Community Forum - Auction Save
Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 10.0 error '80040e57'
String or binary data would be truncated.
/forum/auction_save.asp, line 322"

Is something wrong, or what am I doing wrong? thanks!

That means you are trying to add some data with a size bigger than it is allowed. Want to post here what you are adding?

Is it too many words? I was not adding anything other than words.

Yes and there can only be two places where that is occurring - description or payment options. Which one is it?

You can try again and see if you still have the error message. If you do, can you post the description and payment options text here?

thanks Rui, it was in the payment description area. There should be a limit of letters so we don't get that error.

Well I must say that it wasn't expected that too much was written there. The limit has been increased and all excess characters will be automatically removed.
