I have purchased some coins from him myself and have never had a problem with him at all and one thing you have to take into account is he has a setup to take pictures that is a perfect inviroment (photo tent, copy stand, photo lights and all) so sometimes the pictures look a little better than the coin in hand but the detail is the same. He has always shipped quickly and as I said I have always been pleased with the coins I have purchased from him, just remember the coin may look a little different when it arrives (but then again it may look exactly like the pictures, pictures of coins is a funny thing, it can enhance the coin or be an exact representation of the item, you will have to use your own judgment on which is the case, but the more coins you compare to pictures taken the better you will get and making the decision on which is which)

About how many coins are in a Dansco 7070 album, the pictures you saw on the one guys album is missing 4 coins because he doesn't have the 4 holes for half commems filled so there is actually 76 coins in a full Dansco 7070 without the gold page and there are 86 coin with the gold coins included. I started out with a Dansco 7070 without the Gold page because at the time I just wasn't interested in doing the gold coine, but since then I have purchased the gold page and placed it in the album and started doing the gold portion also. Here is what I had completed so far of my album before I added the Gold page https://goccf.com/t/8956

Here is another thing I did to help my wife in case somethging was to happen to me. I placed a few peices of note book paper in the back of the album and punched holes in them so they would attach to the pegs in the album and started writing down the information of the coins I had purchased like what the slab says what grade or any thing like that and I also keep all the labels from the cracked slabs and am thinking about gluing them to the back inside cover of the album once the album is complete

Bryan the inventory sheet is a good Idea, but it should be stored along with pictures of the coins, just in case of theft !!

having it in the back of the Dansco is cool as long as you have another safely stored in a secure location away from the coins.

Thanks All!!!
I know, I know... When I get into something I go all out... I think that is an asset of mine but also a detriment! I get so excited and antsy... can't hardly sit still on my chair here in front of the computer! And on ebay... whew... I think ok, I'm not going any higher than that... OUT BID... well, maybe a little higher... I must have a little bit of an eye because even when I feel way over my head, I tend to be out bid... probably a good thing. Except the other day... I bid on a Barber quarter... and it went fast and furious... and I am actually under the book value, but... The seller is new and it was graded by Hallmark, which I had never heard of... that's how I found you all... I typed Hallmark into Google and got one of your forums on dealers slabbing their own coins... ya know that sick to your stomach feeling? Yeah, well hopefully the coin will be nice...
Bryan, wow! I love your Flying Eagle and oldest large cent and everything else too... I keep saying to myself... slow down... relax... deep breathe... sllooooowwwwwly.... yeah, it's just going to make me hyperventilate!!! (LOL) Well, I do have a start... a few indian heads and my walker, oh, and I have a 1877 CC dime...
We are going to visit my family over the holiday and Dad is collecting and has my Grandpa's coins too, I'm excited to see them ~ I told him... I want to go through it all!!!
Oh, and while we are talking money... do any of you collect paper? My s-i-l had a $20 that she had got shopping some where (not collecting, as change) it is a 1934 fed ~ I can't believe how much prettier it is than the new stuff... so dark and vivid! Anyways thanks everyone! I really appreciate all your advice and interest... I will post when I get something new... oh, I did post my Walker on the grade forum... let me know what you think...

I have pictures of each coin on my hard drive on 2 computers also. I usually take pictures of the coins inside the slabs when I get them that way before I ever crack them out, and I keep them in a folder on my D drive on this PC and on my laptop in a folder of the same name with a text file with notes about like the same as shown in the dansco except with a little more information like where I got it from and how much I paid and CDN prices at the time of purchase. I forgot, but I also have them in a dansco folder in my coin manage program so its actually in 3 places on 3 different hard drives not including in the back of the Dansco

Sheepy we have a currency section on this forum and we do have a few members that do collect currency along with coins, scoutjim is one I am pretty sure collects currency and has quite a good selection of bills of various dates and countries, the currency section would be a good place to start asking questions about bills like you mentioned

I have a few star notes in different denominations and I have a pretty large collection of $2.00 bills but I still don't consider myself a currency collector
