The first image is the doubled 1881H.
The second image is the doubled 1882H.
The third image is the 1859 with doubled "CANADA", not in Charlton.

Hmm...was wondering if anyone had seen the doubled "CANADA" on the 1859 before.
The doubling is most apparent in the 1st and 3rd As, and the top of "C".

It's hard to find a 1859 that doesn't have some sort of doubling on the obverse letters. The 1859 doubled letters were hand punched into the working dies as the engraver worked to strengthen the legend. It is unlike your other 2 examples that were hub doubled.

Thanks Dan...any idea how rare the 1882 Hub doubled is? I have 2 pieces in F-VF grade, going to send them to CCCS to get graded.

Also, I'm assuming the hub doubled 1881 is more common (I also have 2 of these). Charlton lists 2 varieties.

The 81 is more common. That particular 82 is difficult. There is another in 82 as well. Keep your eyes open and you will find it.

Dan...could you tell me what to look for in the "other 1882 hub doubled" variety? Is there doubling in different words, etc? :)

I've only seen the one that's in Charlton.

Thanks
