What would you experts say this is going for today? Not really into paper currency, and might want to sell it and add to some silver coin albums I have.

Thank you for your expert advice :)

I am interested if you are selling it or trading for it. Let me know (I couldn't send you a PM because your contact info wasn't listed). It looks to be in fair shape, but I don't really know how much the stain and the creasing/folds effect the value. I have some silver coins we could trade.

I don't remember what the greensheets list it as, but I believe they have it in the neighborhood of $30-$50 in G/VG. Looking it up on "oldcurrencyvalues", they list it as $25 on the lower end and $225 in "perfect" condition. They mention it is the 2nd most commonly available large $1 silver certificate (after the 1923 silver cert.)
I know more about coins so I don't know if that helps or not.

This is a legal tender note, not a silver certificate.
Signatures: Teehee and Burke
Small Red (Seal), Scalloped (as opposed to Rays)
Red Book (2005 edition - doesn't account for 2008's recession) has it at vg-8: $75, f-12:$80
A dealer would give you less for it, obviously.
Haggle over the grade; I wouldn't know where to put it.
I'm not an expert but I hope that gives you a better idea.
