teehux New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 07/26/2011 5:48 pm Hello All; I just got this coin out for a charity auction, and my Brother took pictures for me over the 4th weekend. I've had this coin for years, but never saw it w/ such detail as the pictures. It looks just like a S over Horizontal S, which I don't think is possible. There are no tooling marks, and the patina/toning is even and original. I submitted it PCGS, and I made it shared. The # is 112831 if you want to watch. Hey All; OK, back from PCGS, we know it IS authentic. Now what?!? I have a possible S over Horizontal S VDB! (Yes, you are right...There is no such thing! [Yet])! At minimum, we have a Machine Doubling, at best, we have a new, 5th dye for the 1909 S VDB w/ a Horizontal S, (Which would be INCREDIBLE!). Where would you go, and what would you do from here? Look at the pics, and let me know what you think. I made it shared @ PCGS, but here is the Cert # again... 20416472 I feel this S-VDB is really special, and I would really like any input or advice.
