What I would like to see the mint is produce the classic silver coins again. The USPS did that with some of the classic stamps and they were big sellers. It would be nice have some classic silver designs put out such as the Morgans & Peace dollars along with some Liberty quarters, 1/2's, Mercury and the Franklin half. Of course they would all have a modern date but still it would be something interesting and different.

I agree completely. That would be an awesome sales technique. Sign me up to buy some as soon as they come out.

That's why I am so thrilled about the new palladium Mercury obverse coin. The classics are so beautiful.

I would rather see a new, daring, non-traditional design, from someone like Danial Carr. For example, one of his Union of North America coins...

I could envision the mint producing traditional 90% silver coins again. Dimes, quarters, halves, even dollars but they would have to be at the least one design back to distinguish them from the current clad coins. Circulating silver for commerce would be great for me.

That is a pretty nifty design, Jack. I can already hear the sniveling about the big bad eagle sitting there with its talons sunk into the planet, though.
