What are you looking for? Do you want key dates? Do you want to complete a set? Or just pick some Buffalo nickels up for fun?

Right now I only own one and it is my favorite coin. So I'm just starting out. Hopefully in the future I will be completing a set. Thanks!

As a "Type Collector", I would recommend get the best one you can afford/find, and of course get a Type I too!

Easiest way I'd say to indulge your interest is to spend some time on ebay. Tons of Buffaloes in every price range. Go for it!

Buffalo nickels are one of the most interesting series to collect, in my opinion. You can start out by getting a few in very high grades (1937 PDS, 38D) for relatively cheaply, but there are plenty of key dates and condition rarities to keep you busy for a long time. A high-grade collection of Buffalo nickels is always enjoyable. Keep an eye out for good strikes too.
